3. Diwali Festival – India
We are continuing our list of biggest and best fireworks displays around the world with Diwali that is the biggest holiday in India, and is also known as the Festival of Lights. It is celebrated in October or November each year, and it lasts for five days. Fireworks are not the only thing used to celebrate the victory of good over evil during the festival, there are also glittering clay lamps, strings of electric lights, and bonfires. Because it is celebrated across India, obviously some cities have bigger and better fireworks than others – and if the pollution is a good indicator of the size of the fireworks, then Delhi must have the biggest.
