8. Witness: Murder Files
Here’s another British docuseries that doesn’t always fit into the category of the best serial killer documentaries on Netflix. It could be like one of those “Most interesting man in the world memes”—Murder files. Doesn’t always feature serial killer documentaries, but when it does, it’s one of the best serial killer documentaries on Netflix. The first episode is about “The Haircut Killer,” and is the only one truly about serial killers. That along with the fact that it only had 7 reviews on Netflix made me a little harsher on the 2.9 out of 5 rating. While that rating alone stood up to most of these other titles featured on the best serial killer documentaries on Netflix streaming in 2018, I couldn’t let it beat-out others that were true to the serial killer documentaries theme throughout the entire show or series. And at the same time, couldn’t overlook that one episode, because I’m obviously not the only one who enjoyed it. The entire series gets a 7/10 on IMDb.
