4. Midtown

We are continuing our list of worst neighborhoods in Manhattan and Brooklyn in 2018 with Midtown which is the largest central business district not just in Manhattan, but the whole New York City. It is the place of the city’s most iconic buildings, such as the Empire State Building, the Chrysler Building, and the headquarters of the United Nations, to name a few. However, it is not considered to be among the safest ones. It is known as the borough of many felonies and burglaries.
