Jetstar Asia is a Singapore based airline, next on the list of safest low cost airlines in the world, which offers economy class only in its flights. This is one of the defining features of a number of low cost carriers to offer a single class of seats to reduce costs. Successful low cost carriers standardize aircraft and seating in order to reduce procurement and maintenance costs. This airline is majority owned by Singaporean company Westbrook Investments (with Qantas Group holding the rest. The company has got the maximum number of stars for safety, but has 3 out of 5 stars for product quality.
