1. Mississippi
The number one of the 11 most racist states ranked by hate crime is Mississippi. Aside from a hard-to-spell name, it also has some hard to convince that race is nothing to hate people. The most recent example of racial bias crime is the murder of James Craig Anderson, an African-American man who was robbed, beaten and run over by a group of white teenagers.
