Physicists took the third place on our list by the median pay. They are studying the ways in which different forms of matter and energy are interacting, but they may also study the nature of time or the origin of the universe. Physicists and previously listed astronomers have a pretty similar job description and they are both least stressful jobs. Physicists also need a Ph.D. in order to work in research or academia but some federal government jobs are only requiring a bachelor’s degree.
