Around 60% of the territory of Austria, the next on our list of least polluted countries in the world in 2018, is covered in a mountainous landscape, the Alps, of course, being taken care of a lot. For example, the Hohe Tauern National Park is the biggest National park in Central Europe, just being one of many others. Also, with 15% of the organic land, Austria is at the first place in Europe on this matter.
