Another island of the Philippines, Luzon is the 15th largest island in the world, and is home to more than half of the country’s population. It is home to the country’s capital, Manila and where most of the economic and industrial activity is located. It is also home to one of the most perfectly shaped volcanoes in the world, Mt. Mayon.
