Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport won’t be on our list of largest and busiest airports in India in the future, due to the fact that it is being replaced as a primary Ahmedabad airport by proposed Dholera International Airport, due to lack of space for needed expansions. The existing airport will be put up for sale by the AAI.
