I know what you’re thinking now, of course that women can do everything that men can do, and it’s rude to say otherwise, but here’s the truth: we did find 11 jobs women will never be able to do better than men!
We are not talking about some obvious “jobs” like giving a birth and breastfeeding, we are thinking of the jobs that are proved to be better done by men. If you are still can not remember at least one job, I’ll just say: crane operator. I don’t say that women can not operate a crane, but have you ever seen a woman do it better than a man?

I bet you didn’t. Just as it’s not pretty common to see a male beautician, it’s also not pretty common to see a female roofer. Researches show that men don’t trust women to fly a plane and women don’t trust men to be a nanny. It is prohibited to employ only men, of course, but there are plenty of jobs which attract only male applicants. The thing is that most of these jobs men can do more easily than women and that is the only reason they do them better. I am talking about the physical strength that is a must for a construction worker or a logger. It is maybe a stereotype – a builder is a man, but the statistics show that the percentage of women in construction jobs are less than 1 %! So, women, if you are interested in this career, go for it, you will be a role model for others.
To make our list of 11 jobs women will never be able to do better than men, we searched the internet and found various information about the percentage of men employed in certain industries. We also searched the forums with topics about jobs that are typically done better by male rather than female employees. Some of the websites we used as our sources are: The digerati life, Work chron, The Guardian, Gender Stratford and Yahoo answers on the topic. Let’s see together what have we found. Below the name of each job, we added the percentage of male workers in the field. We have to mention there are plenty other jobs that are said to be done better than men, but we haven’t put them in our list, since we didn’t find official confirmation for those statements.
11. Pilot
97% male workers
Has everybody forgotten Amelia Earhart? Why there is not so many women in the airline industry? Do men really fly the planes better than women? Well, it seems that the answer is “Yes!”
10. Appliance repair technicians and Crane Operators
98.6% male workers
I laughed when I read that most women don’t trust other women to do these kind of jobs, so it seems that women are aware that some jobs are just better done by men!
9. Heavy vehicle mechanics
98.6% male workers
Repair and service work on large vehicles doesn’t sound like the greatest career solution for a woman? Well, it usually isn’t, therefore there are not so many women repairers of garbage trucks, for example, and I’m pretty sure that women are not complaining about the fact that men are better heavy vehicle mechanics than them!
8. Roofer
98.9% male workers
We have already mentioned this occupation and I am not surprised that men are better roofers than women. Are you?
7. Toolmaker
99% male workers
They are highly skilled producers of tools (jigs, dies). The percentage speaks for itself.

6. Electrical repairers
99.1% male workers
Have you ever seen a female electrical repairer? No? Installing, repairing things in this industry is almost always done by men, so this is also an industry that is a “boys club.”
5. Truck mechanics, bus mechanics
99.3% male workers
You need very good physical strength along with diagnostic skills to be a truck or bus mechanics and this kind of job is typically done by men.
4. Cement mason
99.3% male workers
It’s very rare to see a female cement mason and concrete finisher. Yes, women can be strong as men, but this kind of job demands filling roadways and sidewalks, houses, etc., making concrete beams and panels, spread concrete with shovel or power trowel and a lot of other jobs all day long. This type of job is not so attractive to women, and they are also not able to perform these tasks as well as men.
3. Automotive technicians

This is definitely the industry men are dominating, but is that for a good reason? I think it’s not, because women are still safer drivers than men, aren’t they?
2. Lumberjack

It’s not only about cutting the trees, you need to also load them on the trailers. I have to mention that I have stumbled upon some websites about women loggers and I’m sure they are great at their jobs, but the statistics say that men are still better and faster woodcutters.
1. Catholic priests
100% male workers
When Pope Francis was asked about the possibility of women to become Catholic priests, he said no. Firmly. This is the reason this occupation tops our list of 11 jobs women will never be able to do better than men, at least not in the near future, as long as they are not given the chance to do so!
