The highest paying health care job without a degree is being an Occupational Therapy Assistant. Occupational Therapy doesn’t help you get a new occupation or work (this is a joke)! Instead, it makes independent living possible again. Stroke patients and victims of related neurological disorders are the often gangs you’ll see in an OT center. As an OT assistant, your work is to follow orders from the Occupational Therapist on how you can help the patient in living by his own. This is by showing them alternative ways in performing daily activities.
