Carmelo Anthony was born in Red Hook New York on 29th of May, 1984. After high school, he went to the Syracuse University where he spent one season and decided to try his luck with the pros. Denver Nuggets choose Carmelo as the third pick in a very competitive draft that included Chris Bosh, Dwayne Wade, and LeBron James. He is the five times NBA All-Star team member, and he also played for the U.S National team at the Olympics in 2004, 2008 and 2012. His contract with the New York Knick is worth $22,9 million.
