7. Zurich Airport- Switzerland
The Zurich airport uses the natural resources and the weather in Switzerland as much as possible. Heating and cooling run solely on geothermal energy while the toilet flushes use only rainwater. To save energy, Zurich Airport collects solar energy as much as possible. The airport uses an on-site compressed-natural-gas station which makes less CO2 emission.
