In 2006, Logan’s Terminal A was the first airport terminal in the US to receive LEED certification. Logan International Airport achieved the award by utilizing only their eco-friendly and customer savvy plans. The airport used recycled materials for construction and heat-reflecting roof. These environmental hacks made the Logan International Airport to be one of the greenest airports in the world.
