Autism rate: 45 cases per 10,000 people
There are two studies performed on autism rates in Australia. The first one was performed in Sidney in 2004 and has established 39.2 cases per 10,000 children. The other, more recent one was done in Perth in 2011 on children up to 10 years of age and suggests 51 cases. For the purpose of the list, a median value was taken.
