No other country has probably put more thought into developing their infrastructure and roads as Japan, so much so that, they have even created some unusually thoughtful ‘Melody roads’. The quality is top-notch and the motorways and trunk roads are well-maintained and organized. Famous roads to check out are the Route 11 and Shutoko.
