We are not sure how long this city will remain on this list, but for now, it is in 11th place, with 187 000 millionaires living there. With a millionaire density of 2.58% it is a great place for people to become millionaires. But the bad news is that many of the rich people plan to leave Hong Kong, about one in 10 citizens. According to a number of surveys, the greater the net worth, the greater the desire is to leave the city.

This beautiful Italian city, which is the capital of the region of Tuscany, boasts a number of wealthy residents, with the millionaire density standing at 2.59%. It is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful sights to behold in Italy, and by that, an attraction to many rich individuals. Fashion, tourism, food & wine, art, are some of the many reasons for millionaires to come to Florence.
9. Amsterdam
Although it is not a city best known for its wealthy citizens, but rather by legalized cannabis and Red Light District, the exciting lifestyle in Amsterdam has attracted many millionaires. They have succeeded in doing that with their Millionaire Fair, which is held annually in Amsterdam RAI. 2.63% of the city’s population are millionaires.
8. Singapore
In 8th place we give you Singapore, the Asia Pacific center for private banking, as it is called. One person in 36 in Singapore is a millionaire, if we look at the millionaire density, which is 2.80%. The total number of millionaires lies at 157 000.
7. Oslo
Due to the rapid and successful rise in wealth and economy, people from the Norwegian city of Oslo, have made it into the 7th place in today’s list of cities with the most millionaires per capita. Fully 2.90% of all the residents of Oslo are millionaires.
6. London
If you wish to meet rich people, you should maybe visit Tokyo. But, if you want to meet really rich people, London is the place for you. Over one in every 30 people in London is a millionaire. The percentage of millionaires per capita is 3.39%. Meaning that there are 281 000 millionaires in London. Obviously not a bad spot to find the rich, or super-rich.
5. Frankfurt
With one millionaire for every 30 residents, Frankfurt has made it into the today’s top 5. A truly financial powerhouse for Germany, it is home to 217 000 millionaires. The per capita stats lie at 3,88% out of all the city’s residents. One of the main reasons for that lies in the fact that the city hosts the European Central Bank and the German Federal Bank.
4. New York
Undoubtedly, you would all guess right, if we asked you which city has the most millionaires in total. Yes, it is New York. An incredible number of 389 000 people in New York are millionaires. But, the only reason this city is not ranked higher, is because the density of 4.63% is low compared to others. Still, it is the only American city to make it into the top ten here.
3. Geneva
In 3rd position on the today’s list of cities with most millionaires is Geneva, with the density of 17.92% and with 1156 being the total number of millionaires. That means that almost one in five people in Geneva is a millionaire. An interesting fact, this city offers the world’s most expensive club sandwich, with the price at $21.30.
2. Zurich
The runner-up position goes to the beautiful town of Zurich, with a millionaire density of 27.34%. In total, there are 1314 millionaires living in Zurich, and most of them are Swiss or local Swiss-German people. One of the most expensive holiday destinations in the world, Zurich was named the city with the best quality of life in the world, and the wealthiest city in Europe.

Nearly one in three people there is a millionaire, and we are quite sure that the rest work for them. Looking at the numbers, it has almost seven times the millionaire density of New York. A staggering 29%. After all, low tax and a beautiful Mediterranean waterfront, who wouldn’t want to live here?
