“Deselepojede Lorenzo I Kakalamba” is a restaurant with quite an interesting ambience, which represents a mixture of Italian and Serbian traditional interior design, but in a contemporary artistic way. Once you find yourself inside, you will notice that the restaurant is filled with numerous interesting details like a goat eating grass on the ceiling, comical reproductions of famous Florentine sculptors, and fantastic paintings. However, the design is not the only thing that represents the mixture of Italian and Serbian ways. The aim of the restaurant owner was to offer to its guests, a mixture of Tuscan and Pirot cuisine (Pirot is a town in the south of Serbia, famous for its traditional cuisine). On the menu, you can find dishes like, Lorenzo (Prosciutto, arugula, and other Italian ingredients), vegetable pottage made from pumpkin seeds and pine nuts, fokačo (thin Tuscan pastry with rosemary), Sarmice od vinovog lista (a famous Serbian meal made of minced meat and rice, rolled in vine leaves). However, these are not the only meals you can find on the menu. The restaurant offers 13 different kinds of pizza, plenty of different meat meals, many types of pasta, the popular “Antiaging menu”, menu for children, and more. As far as the vine card goes, you will find 28 different white wines, and 36 different red wines, for a reasonable price per bottle.
