I went to college in Houston so I’m a little bit biased in saying this is not my favorite on the list of best places to visit in the USA for couples for a weekend , but if you and your significant other would like to get stuck in traffic on your weekend getaway then, by all means, take a trip. That being said, there are still really lovely places to visit as long as you plan to not be on the road during prime hours. The art museums in Midtown are beautiful and unique. Houston Culinary Tours are great for foodies and there’s also a nature center to check out.
