Its climate paved the way for the vineyards yielding most of the finest wines in the area. November is the best time to see the place, as fine dine restaurants bring out their best wines just in time for a fantastic Thanksgiving dinner. You can also visit Santa Barbara Museum of Art, Santa Barbara Zoo, and Santa Barbara Botanic Garden. Have fun shopping on State Street, too.
