The Little Church of the West has been around since 1942 – and by “around”, we mean almost literally. The picturesque little chapel, which is currently located close to the iconic Welcome sign, has been made to move around Vegas a couple of times. What makes it one of the best places to get married in Las Vegas is more its history than anything else. Not that it’s not pretty because it’s picturesque, actually, but its fame among the marrying kind is mostly because of all the celebrities who’ve come to the chapel for a quick, quiet wedding. The list includes Judy Garland, Cindy Crawford, Richard Gere, and the young, pre-Brad Pitt Angelina Jolie (when she married Billy Bob Thornton).
