Violent crimes are so common that business owners are afraid to open stores in the city. It was once a bustling city, back in the 70s — ranked 13th in our list of the most crime-ridden cities in the US

As of writing this article, the city has a poor economy, low sleep rates, low sport-participation rates, high separation and divorce rates, and high unemployment rates. In the future, Detroit’s conditions are expected to get better, and the job market is expected to grow. But, as of now, it is the unhappiest city in the United States.
