Even though there is, in fact, a black market for guns on the Deep Web, it is not its most blooming industry. For one, mailing guns is not as easy as doing so with drugs or porn, they actually take up a lot of space, and you can’t really ration them by pieces; it’s just too complicated. This market is especially unsuccessful in the US, and here’s why: it is so incredibly easy to get a gun legally in this country, that doing so through the dark web just isn’t worth the trouble. This market is mostly developed in Eastern Europe, mainly for German military weaponry. Even though Dark Web Markets have been pulling out of the gun trade because the demand is not big enough to be worth the risk, especially in the low scale trafficking, it doesn’t mean gun trafficking doesn’t, in fact, occur.
