Rob Corso and Meg Sheehan decided to reach their hand to that Christian in everyone. They made electronic sandwich press that toasts the face of Jesus onto your sandwich bread. And their prayers have been heard since they collected $25,604 from 286 backers.

8. Pirate Pancake Griddle!

While there are people who like a touch of Jesus on their sandwich bread, there are those who are not fans of religion, and like their food a bit darker. For them, this Joe Sandor’s project which turns your pancakes into skull heads was perfect and they funded it with more than $18,000.

7. TARDIS To The Orbit

Some Doctor Who fans wanted to make something special for 5oth anniversary of the show. So they have built this Doctor Who time machine and spacecraft and they want to launch it into the orbit. 3,231 people funded the project with $88,880.

6. Tooth Campaign

Jeffery Self broke his front tooth, but his head was in a greater pain when he discovered the amount of money he would need to fix it. So he launched an indiegogo campaign to get the necessary funds. $3,650 was funded to bring Jeffery his smile back in just 15 days.

5. Potato Salad

Zack Danger Brown started a campaign on Kickstarter asking for $10 so he would make a potato salad. For some reason, people really dig it, and he managed to collect $55,492 from 6,911 backers. That’s enough money to make potato salad with gold if you ask us. But the man was fair and donated much of the money to the charity. 4. The Burrito Eater

Noboru Bitoy wanted to try a burrito from his local Chipolte and asked 8$ for this project of his. People are into backing other’s hunger, since he raised $1,050 from 258 backers.

3. World’s Most Super Amazing 100% Awesome Cat Calendar

This shouldn’t come as a surprise, since everyone likes cat nowadays. Kate Funk asked for $3,500 so she would make a calendar filled with cats in costumes and what not. The project was quickly backed from 1.119 backers who donated more than $25,000.

2. Kurt Braunohler’s Cloud Project

Comedian Kurt Braunohler came up with the idea he could hire someone to write stupid things on the sky with a plane. He asked for $4,000, but got close to $7,000 from 257 backers. He even organized a pool to decide on the phrase to be written. The winner was “How do I land”.
