Las Vegas is quite strict on hate crimes and offenders can even get up to 20 years in prison depending on the crime. One of the reasons why there are fewer reports than actual crimes is because some issues are often settled away from a court or reduced to minor infractions. Las Vegas has been known to have had a few killings due to hate groups in the city.
