3. Car rental business
When talking about carbon footprints, people are also recognizing the fact that sometimes it is more convenient to rent a car instead of owning one, or that you could share a ride when going to work. Naturally, you would need a car for this business, but the profit would be higher as well. Renting has become a business of its own, but we opted for cars since they are widely used while renting specific (industry) machines is more complicated and needs a niche market.
