6. The Sultan’s Palace

This lovely French Quarter model is located at 716 Dauphine St., New Orleans, Louisiana. This was a house of horrors for the Sultan and his numerous wives and children as well as all the women, girls and boys who were kidnapped for the pleasure of the Sultan who had the habits for cruelty, revelry and opium. History said that the angry spirit of the Sultan whose demise was a mystery when he was buried alive in the courtyard after his wives, children and guards were hacked to pieces and thrown everywhere by unknown murderers. Nowadays, sounds of body parts thrashing and hitting the floor, screaming, strange noises and some strong smells of incense has been reported by passers-by.
