Headquartered in California, Wells Fargo is a leading American banking and financial services company. Wells Fargo has been adorned with titles like “most respected company in the world”, “most admired company in the world” and the “world’s most valuable bank brand”. Wells Fargo had set a goal to donate $1 billion to non-profit groups by 2017. However, the company achieved that goal two years early, in 2015. The year 2015 marked Wells Fargo’s sixth-consecutive year of more than $200 million in donations, with donations of more than $281 million to 17,100 non-profit groups. Shares of the company have gained more than 56% over the last decade and currently have a dividend yield of 2.7%.
