10 Most Expensive Hotels in The World to Build

The 10 most expensive hotels in the world to build each cost over a billion dollars. Hotels nowadays are a very competitive business. In order to outdo each other, hotels tend to spend on extravagances and features that are extremely expensive to incorporate. Simply featuring a large sized pool, a gym, a spa and a large car park is not enough to cut it anymore. Now, hotels often feature casinos, helipads, giant ballrooms and a myriad of other facilities. Of course, these amenities don’t come cheap, which is why the bill for building a hotel can run into hundreds of millions, if not billions of dollars.
