2. Church of Satan

I know what you’re thinking, but no. Anton’s LaVey Church of Satan established in 1966 has nothing to do with theist Satan worshipers. In fact the International organization based in New York is an atheist, individualistic organization that rejects the belief of the existence of anything supernatural, including the existence of soul and afterlife. Anton LaVey gave to the word ‘Satan’ a very different meaning comparing to the one given by traditional religions. Satan according to LaVey means ‘opposer’, the one who questions. The organization is secretive in the essence of  concealing the identity of its members, yet most of the rituals and moral code of the Church is long now available to the public.
