Working in a grocery store is probably the most usual job among high school students since each neighborhood has a local store where you know everyone and it is quite easy to go and express your interest in working. Generally, grocery stores are willing to hire students throughout the whole year, and there are many different jobs that they may perform there, including packing groceries, stocking shelves, operating a cash register, mopping floors and cleaning, and many others, depending on the size of the store.
