Why did the chicken cross the road? That’s a joke as old as the world, probably, but it’s one that’s been the stepping stone for many games ever since video games first got made. The premise is a familiar one – you have a character that needs to cross the road while avoiding incoming traffic. Cross Road takes that and makes it super cute by adding figurines and making sure the environment matches the character. For instance, you’ll cross from iceberg to iceberg with a penguin, while the environment will shake at every jump you make while playing as a dinosaur.
It’s an interesting game, that can even be played with your friends. For all those times when you’d rather game alone, however, it also works without an Internet connection. That’s why we put it on our list of free no WiFi games for Android and iPhone.
