6. Anxiety
We are continuing our list of easiest illnesses to fake to a doctor with anxiety, which was the second reason why the Brits asked for a day off. This is a bit harder to fake, but not impossible. After all, you don’t need any special equipment for this. Just make sure you appear very nervous and apprehensive. By the way, there are several major types of anxiety: social anxiety disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD), panic disorder and generalized anxiety disorder (GAD). Perhaps this last one would be the best to fake since it’s characterized by chronic anxiety, exaggerated worry, and tension. Try to explain to the doctor that you keep worrying about the most unimportant little things.
