3. Austria
One of the easiest flags to draw in the world is the Tricolor flag with top-bottom stripes being red and middle one being white. According to legends, the inspiration goes way back in time of Duke Leopold of Austria who was involved in the battle during the ‘Crusades’; he saw his white battledress soaked in blood, while the cloth under the belt remained white, representing the pattern of white and red, which inspired the flag design of Austria. Though, the design evolved over time and was readopted on April 27th, in 1984.
