5. Onions
Preferred Season: Spring
Required Days Before Harvest: 100-120 days
Despite being a cold only season crop, onions are very easy one of the easiest farm crops to grow because they are hardy. You don’t have to worry about frost and onions have a high success rate when yielding. Onions need full sunlight and can be put indoors 6 weeks before being transplanted. Don’t bury them more than one inch under the soil and protect them from maggots by using fine mesh netting.
