What’s great about carrots is that you can plant them all year round provided that you give them mulch to survive winter seasons. They’re best planted in loose soil, and if you’re looking to harvest baby carrots, then you’ll only need about 50 to 60 days. Before harvesting the carrots, it’s important to loosen the soil and then cut the foliage at the top leaving only ¼ to ½ inches above.
