This is one of the few Eagle alternate badges. If a 20-mile hike seems too difficult, you can also opt for cycling or swimming badge instead. The badge allows you to build your credit over time, by attending hiking, tracking and orienteering events. Its purpose is to improve your physical strength and senses and teach you how to create a hike plan and stick to it.
