Most of you probably didn’t think about this one. While not (yet) the US state, Puerto Rico is still an unincorporated territory within the United States, and as such needs to be considered. The University of Puerto Rico in San Juan doesn’t offer the level of quality exhibited by most other US programs. It’s rated 98th by the reputation which isn’t that bad considering the fact that it’s also rated 101st by research output and dead last 99th in the last remaining category with only 65 percent of board-certified dermatologists. If you aren’t afraid to make a change, and you’re already close to the Gulf of Mexico, why not take a trip across the Caribbean and try your luck in this tropical wonderland?
