Adopting a child is a life-changing step. At first, it’s inevitable for you to check out your motivations before going forward. What are your reason for adopting? From the beginning to the end, intercountry adaption is not an easy thing. Are you ready to travel to the destination country, couple of times if necessary?

Governments have a lot of requirements for adopting a child, such as marital status, parental age, age gap, your health, net income, number of children at home, among others. We chose the countries where most children were adopted from, and then ranked them by checking if they are present in the Hague Convention country or not. Naturally, Hague Convention countries are ranked higher, as during adopting process you are highly protected.

10. Taiwan

Taiwan is the first country where you can easily a child from. Prospective parents must be  20 years older than the adoptive child. If they are married, one of them has to be 20 years older the other one can be 16 years older. .

9. Colombia
