3. Uganda

Apparently Uganda is one of the countries where Black Death still exists. During 2008-2016, 255 suspected cases of plague were recorded in the West-Nile region of Uganda, and about one-third of them were laboratory confirmed. There were reports of a huge number of dead rats at the patients’ village at the time, which is associated with the outbreak of the Black Death.
