2. Ernst & Young
One of the biggest accounting firms in the world, Ernst & Young removed its college degree requirement around August of 2015. According to Maggie Stilwell, Ernst & Young’s managing partner for talent, they made their own internal research of over 400 graduates and found out that using academic performance alone was “too blunt an approach to recruitment.” She added that, “It found no evidence to conclude that previous success in higher education correlated with future success in subsequent professional qualifications undertaken.”
Career growth is one of the company’s strengths. One Ernst & Young employee said, “You got most experience and exposure in the shortest time. Also, the promotion speed is fast comparing to the industry.” Another employee gave feedback saying, “The Firm is a great place to work. There is a great deal of flexibility and the compensation package is highly competitive.”
