Up next on our list of classes to improve your voice in NYC we have a class you can take that is a bit different than the ones we’ve seen thus far because it’s for commercial voice-over.
During this class, for which you’ll pay $249, you’ll learn how to work as a professional voice over, starting with solid skills and continuing with techniques to help you get the best of it.
The instructor will help you learn the differences between radio and TV commercial copy, which require different types of reads. Mic technique skills, inside tips and so on, will also be included in the 3-week class.
There are also other classes offered here focusing on one’s voice – like one about accents. It’s mostly directed at actors who need to portray characters of different backgrounds. It can, however, also serve those who will read audio books, act for games, or commercials. Such a class lasts for 5 weeks and cost $349.
