9. Plano Balloon Festival

Every September, Plano, Texas immerses itself in everything ballooning. The event has been going on for over 30 years. It’s probably one of the largest occasions in Plano. The events change from time to time, but you can definitely expect hot air balloon launches if the weather is right. There’s also a large Kid’s Fun Zone and a stage showcasing local community acts, as this event is used as a fundraiser by local nonprofits.
