10. The Temple of the Feathered Serpent Treasure

An archeologist Sergio Gómez, from the Mexico’s National Institute of Anthropology and History, got the government’s permission to dig the tunnel within the temple in 2009. He found out that the tunnel was full of pottery, jewelry, coins, but also some creepy things, such as the human skin; altogether, there were around 70, 000 artifacts.
