Islands of Cape Verde were first discovered by Portuguese in the 15th century, being uninhabited before that, so there is a bunch of colonial architecture and also colonial fort of Santiago. Nowadays Cape Verde represents exotic mixture of European, African and Brazilian cultures, which resembles in their customs, fashion, cuisine… There is also a great choice of sandy beaches, for a nice relaxing November afternoon.
