Basically, the best job for learning the foreign language is the one where you need to communicate with people a lot so that you may practice your conversation. Various jobs that you may find in hostels are perfect for that, and you may even perform some of them without knowing much for a start. If you work in the cleaning service, you don’t need to speak English at all, but you should think about the strategies how to benefit from the people who actually speak it. On the other side, if you want to work as a receptionist, you need to know at least specific words and phrases, but since you are going to be constantly involved in the communication with tourists, you will get to learn a lot in a short period of time.
