5. Domingos Martins (state of Espirito Santo)
The famous ‘Blue Stone’ or Pedra Azul is located in the region of Domingos Martins. Pedra Azul amazingly turns blue at sunset and dawn, which attracts many wanderers as possible because of its majestic beauty. What makes it a safe place for backpackers like you? There’re only a few amiable people inhabiting the place (2006 est.), so just imagine this trip as a chance of owning a place with Blue Mountains by yourself (at least for the day of your trek). Domingos Martins is definitely one of the best places to visit in Brazil before you die!
