If you want to make sure you don’t lack anything you would usually have in the United States, the capital of Panama that ranks 9th on the list of best places to retire in Panama is an obvious choice. Panama City is considered a global city and it sure looks like it. Modern architecture, a large community of expats and amazing tourist offer all account for the fact that Panama City is an attractive destination for anyone and a city you can feel comfortable in. This, however, also had a negative effect on the city’s appeal to retirees. While decade or two ago, you could live comfortably with a small budget, that isn’t the case anymore, since the city is becoming more of a destination for people with a deep pocket.
