Located in the Middle East, Bahrain is one of the few Arab countries that has lessened its reliance on oil and dabbled in other industries to be able to have a more sustainable future. Maybe this is one of the reasons that it is not very vulnerable to natural disasters. However, the UNU did rank it quite low in the adaptive capacities category, so it still has some work cut out for it.
