We are continuing our list of best paying summer jobs for nursing students with emergency medical technicians or EMTs who are often confused with ambulance cars drivers, but their role is very much different. It is of a huge importance to mention that, besides nursing school, you must finish training to become an EMT, and the training is often one semester long. It is true that EMTs go directly to people who are injured and who need medical assistance, but they do not just bring them to hospitals, they are also required to provide them a medical care on the way to the hospital, within the specific car. You need to be very strong physically, and you definitely need to be a problem-solver, since you will be usually the one to give the solutions on how to react once you reach the injured person.
